At least four parked vehicles were damaged when a high-speed defender jeep, which took part in a school big-match vehicle parade in Colombo 4, met with an accident, this morning.

Last week, police warned that it will take legal action against schoolboys and their supporters who violate the law during the school big-match season.

"Last week, police warned that it will take legal action against schoolboys and their supporters who violate the law during the school big-match season". So who took the Police seriously?

This is not new and the Police is not stopping it. Every time a marathon, a bike race or some other school event is going on, some hooligans with motorbikes or cars, without helmets, standing on the seat, waving flags are going up and down with high speed and endanger other motorists. Why cannot this be brought to an end??

Gotabaya have you got a backbone to ban this outdated nonsense. These fools in SL took all the bad habits leftover by the SUDDHAS but ditched the good things such as DISCIPLINE. Even these do not happen in England now where it originated. They have moved on for better things.
