Four attorneys yesterday handed over their nominations for the post of President and Secretary of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) for the elections due to be held on February 20.
The nominations were received at the BASL Auditorium by Returning Officer, Solicitor General Dappula De Livera PC. The nominees for the Presidentship were Kalinga Indatissa PC and Mahinda Lokuge PC, while the present Secretary Ms.Kausalya Nawaratna and Ms. Theja Sama Welianga submitted their nomination papers for the post of Secretary of the BASL.
