One of the transformers at the Kotugoda CEB Grid Sub Station in Minuwangoda, has caught fire, our reporter said.
He said fire brigades were rushing to the location and that some areas in Negombo had reported a power failure because of the malfunctioning transformer. (Tony Karunanayake)
