The Attorney General's Department today filed a revision application at the Colombo High Court against the Gangodawila Magistrate’s decision to release Former Additional Magistrate Thilina Gamage on bail.
The AG seeks to remand the suspect for allegedly keeping an elephant in contravention of the PPA and Fauna and Flora Act.
The revision application will be taken up for consideration at the Colombo High Court today. (Shehan Chamika Silva and Manopriya Gunasekara)
