755 Covid-19 patients so far detected today

A total of 755 new Covid-19 cases were today climbing the total number of cases in the country to 32, 130, the Government Information Department said.

Accordingly, the total cases in the Minuwangoda-Peliyagoda cluster stand at 28, 502.

Meanwhile, a total of 762 Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday.

    We are witnessing a rapid spiking of cases as a result of the foolish 'pirith' extravaganza at Independence Square which has cost millions of rupees which has turned out to be a non-event. The million dollar question is- can a chanting or a bottle of 'pani' save SrLanka.

    Some big talker said the covid was under control but what news do we have a few days later from11000 we are adding an average of 600 now we are breaking records over 750 per day.
