At least 48 office trains operated this morning to ease the commuters to arrive, Colombo, Railways General Manager Dilantha Fernando said.
He said the trains reached the Fort through the Mainline, Coastal line, Kelani Valley line, Puttalam Line and Nothern line.
“Every commuter should provide their details at the entrance of every railway station and also they should wear face masks when entering the train stations,” he said.
“However, trains do not stop at the stations located at areas identified as isolated,” the GMR added. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
