48-hour water cut in Colombo

This is totally absurd. Short notice but cutting water for 48 hours is too long. Before taking this decision, did you sit and discuss the gravity of the general public? Its a crazy decision.

I think 48 hours without water is too long to sustain. Specially in colombo with the current weather. Most of the houses had least 3 to 4 occupants in them. I can't imagine how hard this is going to be for them.

Can't the water and drainage board have little gap in between within this 48 hours? So that will give the people sometime.

It will be worse for those who don't have stock tang to stock water. I have lived in Soyzapura Flats have suffered even for small water cuts those days.

Going to make some call to my friends over to stock water.

LOOKS LIKE SOME POLITICIANS ARE GOING TO PROCESS BOTTLED WATER OR IMPORT FOREIGN WATER.

what a bad management . the anouncement comes just few hrs before it. it should have been given atleast 2 weeks before. other countries it abt 1to 2month via DM Android App
