About 34 students of two schools were taken into custody today for allegedly entering Methodist College in Kollupitiya and behaving in an unruly manner.
They had reportedly thrown firecrackers into the school premises and had damaged school property.
The students were released after being reprimanded and the matter was resolved amicably.

During our time in early fifties we royalists were not arrested when we entered "Ladies" and even kissed the Principal. However, subsequently "Royal- Thomian" was declared a "public holiday" for "Ladies" !

Thugs in the making for the never ending demonstrations. These bastards must be dealt with according to the law of the land since verbal warnings or amicable settlement won’t becunderstood. In the alternative five lashes each must be given. This is how we can discipline the future generation

Much of the blame is with yakko type parents who feel proud when their "boys" do this kind of things. Will you see this humbug in Jaffna Schools? It is to with values, culture and discipline.

The video footage clearly shows the school affected was HFC. You might want to change the article and visual.
