The Colombo Magistrate's Court today re-remanded 31 ex-LTTE inmates till November 24 as the Attorney General's Department had not yet instructed the prison authorities to release them.

When the case was taken up today, prisons officials informed the court that they had held discussions with the AG’s Department but they had not been instructed as yet to release the inmates. (Shehan Chamikara)

This spurious attitude is happening only because those who have the power to release are all Sinhalese and the prisoners are all Tamil. No wonder Tamils are asking for a separate State.

If they are political innocent prisoners( not terrorists as per TNA and tamil community ) what about our brave soldiers who are in prison should be released too.....
