2 Arabs arrested for alleged sexual abuse

Two Saudi Arabian nationals and a Sri Lankan were arrested in a hotel in Hikkaduwa yesterday for allegedly sexually abusing a 17 year old girl and for offering women for prostitution, police said.

The suspects are to be produced before the Galle Magistrate today. Police are conducting further investigations.

People should not judge simply because they are only allegedly accused of sexual abuse. We also remember how our maids when travelling to modern countries like Jordan and Lebanon have fabricated stories of sexual abuse. This can also be such a case. The police should investigate what exactly this 17 year old girl has been doing away from her parents and without any male or female companions. Is she unhappy because she did not get paid? Or is there something else here?

Everybody here talk about Arab or Sharia Punishment. Do you know actually how it works..? Will this girl find " four witnesses" to this crime, in order to prove it...? In Arab world which is men are dominated, more often men slip without any punishment to such crimes.SO WE SHOULD PUNISH THEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR LAW, WHICH IS BETTER...!
