19 hospitalised in bus collision

Nineteen passengers were hospitalised following a bus accident near Lumbini College in Kandy this morning, the Police said.

A private bus plying from Wattegama to Colombo had collided with a SLTB bus plying on the Kandy-Colombo route.

The injured were admitted to the Kandy Hospital. The driver of the private bus was arrested by the police.
