17 students injured in accident

At least seventeen school children were injured when the school bus they were travelling in fell into a slope in Karawila in the Ella- Badalkumbura main road this morning, police said.

The injured students were admitted to the Badalkumbura and Sirigala Hospitals. All of them have received minor injuries according to hospital authorities. (Prassana Padmasiri)

    Ministry of highways & public transport along with the police should be should implement and monitor all safety measures until it becomes a habit for all commuters.
