15,676 IDPs left

The final batch of 855 Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) who were housed in the Zone 2 IDP camp in Vavuniya was resettled and the camp was declared closed today. Only 15,676 IDPs remain to be settled, Resettlement Deputy Minister Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan alias Karuna Amman told Daily Mirror online. 

The remaining 15,676 Internally Displace Persons are housed in Kadirgamar IDP camp, Anandakumaraswami IDP Camp, Arunachalam IDP camp and Ramanathan camp. (Gandhya Senanayake and Sumiya Rizvi) (Daily Mirror online)

    though he is a minister for resettlement, he doesn't enjoy the support from Tamil mass. He is an appointed worker to the Tamil mass. If he really proud of the work he has done, he should have faced the election to prove that or shold have been welcome by the people. There is no such a welcome. It raises many questions.
