Fifteen students and a teacher of a Tamil school in Nawalapitiya which is administered by the Pasbage Korale Medical Health Officer's Office were contracted with COVID-19 today.
The area PHI said 112 were subject to PCR tests at Westhall Estate in Nawalapitiya and 22 of them were confirmed to have been infected with the virus.
The infected were referred to treatment centres. (Ranjith Rajapaksa)
