Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who is in Sri Lanka on a private visit, met President Maithripala Sirisena today and assured he would speak on behalf of Sri Lanka to help negate the misconceptions being spread about the country.
He praised the President’s efforts at holding a peaceful parliamentary election and the work being done towards reconciliation.

As a Brit I can tell you that Blair. ( Bliar) is probably the most hated man in the UK so my advice is stear clear of him. He lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and sent hundred of our armed forces to their deaths .

When someone offers to do something good for our country, embrace it. From all the negative comments, it appears all the LTTE supporters have had their feathers ruffled!

Public Speaking is his present occupation. He is said to be the most expensive on the public speaker circuit. He can speak for us any time but is it going to be free?. In any case Madam and children also were here with him for the family holiday. We also know that Madam is one of the most successful lawyers in the UK . We are indeed fortunate to have the family having some quality time in our country and we trust they share their experience with their friends

Tony Blair is currently now known to use his past political positions such as Former British PM to make big money overseas, He was even recently accused blasted in House of commons (UK parliament) for this purpose. So be careful, he is trying to play an advisory role for SL government and earn couple of millions of UK pounds for this purpose, Beware of this international diplomatic Fraudster,

Wise if our political establishment distance themselves from Blair who is an alleged war criminal and an international terrorist who deserves to be extradited to the Hague with Mahinda.

When these people said democracy it turned out to be total destruction in middle east. I sincerely hope it is not something similar when he says reconciliation
