I expected higher rates of voter turnouts as much as 80% from Matara; 82% from Hambantota; 79% from Nuwara Eliya; 75% from Puttalam; 79% from Monaragala; 81% from Polonnaruwa; 80% from Kegalle; 80% from Gampaha; and 82% from Galle. Compare my estimated numbers with the tentative figures now publish and also with the final numbers.

It is good to see turnout is good in north east. It is an indication that all minorities are taking part of this democratic process and fulfilling their responsibilities as Sri Lankans.
