The best message we the citizens of this country can give the two sets of corrupt politicians is to vote JVP in the coming local government elections.

Soon almost half of the SL population would become ministers..

    Upul Wednesday, 06 April 2016 05:48 PM

This is getting ridiculous. To pay for all the facilities provided to these appointees will become a burden on the poor taxpayer. What Yahapalanaya preached before the elections was a complete opposite of what they are doing now. Thursday, 07 April 2016 12:44 PM

oi maithripeople elected you to have a small cabinet of intellcuals not a mega cabinet like rajapakse filled with idiots.will there be any mps in the house at this rate.

Since Govt. has a fair majority in the House it is time to get rid of the jokers who lost even in their electorates like SB Dilan etc. Then Rosy can be brought in. via DM Android App

    garawi Thursday, 07 April 2016 05:06 AM

Is all the MPs now on band wagon? Or are there anymore to be appointed. The criticism of MR's Jumbo cabinet has now become a joke! What a farce this Yahapalanaya is?

Suranga Siriwardena Thursday, 07 April 2016 05:07 AM

All defeated candidates given portfolios. Why do you have to have elections to seek the mandate of the people? This no better than MR Govt and we are taken to a ride by everyone.

    garawi Thursday, 07 April 2016 05:11 AM

I am wondering now who shall I vote in the next election?Neither the SLFP nor the UNP is my choice any more though the UNP/SLFP coalition of MR/Ranil is definitely better than MR. Even though clean now the JVP is out for historical reasons. Is there any third new party devoid of old guard in the process of being born with young intelectual instead of thugs, drug dealers, murderers and the like in it? I am waiting!

    Man Wednesday, 06 April 2016 01:00 PM

Unfortunately, Buddhika Pathirana passed out from the Medical Faculty, unlike, almost all the other MPs.

    garawi Thursday, 07 April 2016 05:33 AM

Can the parliament or somebody else even the readers publish a list of all the ministers, deputies, state and other, so that we know how many there are now ?

    M.M.M.Izzeth Wednesday, 06 April 2016 01:08 PM

That means we also can get a portfolio for supporting Yahapalanaya. None parliament cabinet ministers...

Wele Vidane Thursday, 07 April 2016 05:45 AM

    Sobhitha Wednesday, 06 April 2016 01:19 PM

    ray Wednesday, 06 April 2016 01:20 PM

Okay, so does everyone have a ministerial portfolio now? via DM iOS App

    BuffaloaCitizen Wednesday, 06 April 2016 01:27 PM

What did they promise when they were asking for our votes?

    BuffaloaCitizen Wednesday, 06 April 2016 01:51 PM

    Better ask how many more?
