A protest demonstration was held in front of the United Nations office at Thunmulla against the visit of UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein this afternoon.
The protest march, organized by the National Freedom Front led by MP Wimal Weerawansa, commenced from the Town Hall, Colombo and marched to the UN office at Thunmulla. Security was tightened around the UN office during the protest. Pix by Shantha Ratnayaka
