I fully agree with Iqbal. Mangala is not fellow that could be bought with perks. Although he had some weaknesses during Chandrika Govt.now he understands ground realities with great clarity. "Sirasa" assisted Buddhika Patirana is the joker is the UNP like Mervyn in the UPFA, deserving only a chuckle. In politics there are no permanent friends or enemies. In politics of UPFA there are only opportunistic politicians seeking power,wealth and no patriots.

A very balanced interview, both the interviewer and the interviewee did very well. Mangala Samarasinghe again showed he is a decent politician who is not for sale for ministerial post or mere perks.
