Dear Dr.Mrs. Bandaranayake, those who did this to you will have to face real justice one day. They will be judged from above.

Why not, now that she has already got judged from the above for not cheating a red cent. Is getting a 1.5 million discount for a house from a company against whom she is sitting in judgement wrong?

This government is mad to treat these 110% honest people like this.

How about Rs. 20 millon transferred into your account from Australia which was not declared or documented? When this happens with the CHIEF JUSTICE, it is a SERIOUS issue.

Also madam former CJ, you are alining with all the LTTE supporters back then and also you were about to give a ruling to grant all police and land powers to Northern province when TNA wins the election!! Wink wink!

She says that she had not cheated red cent. but when we read the PSC committee evidence and the way CJ and her lawyers mishandled the matter and it gives a poor opinion on them. Jathiyen karanna be darmen karanna one.
about the Ceylinco dealing she is guilty of misconduct of a judge. She and her husband exploited the situation and gained Rs 1.6 million as a reduction which is an unlawful gain which is a cheating or fraud in the eye of law. that itself is sufficient for to resign be she is been sacked. judgment reported in 1982 (2) SLR 664 in re K C de Alvis clearly cuts her integrity and honesty.

What a puritan is Sarath! How many can hold office in Sri Lanka by your high standards. This was at worst unethical not misconduct for impeachment. The truth is the DIVINEGUMA BILL !

just fed up of this stale news, just because she s a woman does,nt mean she s innocent, corrupt is corrupt, instead of blaming our great President Rajapakshe we should praise him for getting our country out of the mess of riots, killings and other atrocities, He is truly a great leader and Man of the Match for eradicating ethnic problem in our country

Reputed A.-A-L Mr Govin Dayasiri has written to press as follows": while she was holding office as Chief Justice took over a case reconstituted a fresh bench ousting another long presiding judge in the case and heard it, where she had a stake of a discount. .......... acted against a court order in the case she presided and paid a cheque under her signature for a transaction where a considerable discount was in the bargain, while continuing to hear the case. The court order stated that the best price should be realized from the sale. Therefore the discount, if correct as the ex parte evidence shows, disturbs the order. She did not present her position, foolishly. After hearing the case for so long she cannot be heard to say she did not know the previous order, against which she acted."
Dr.Shirani, Can you please answer the above to clear our mind. Can you otherwise, claim damages from Govin for misrepresentati on? Public are awaiting your reply.
