Audio: He will move forward- Apsara

E-mail Print
The elder daughter of Sarath Fonseka, Apsara Fonseka said her father would move forward in a very simple manner.

In an interview with Daily Mirror online, about the ordeal her family had gone through during the past two and a half years she said “His main goal is to provide freedom and bring successes to the country. I don’t think he cares about power or position. He will find his own way to do it.

Everyone knows that he once said he would never let another Army Commander have to fight a war and he kept to his word. He has proven that he keeps to his word one hundred percent of the time, and I am sure that this time too he will keep to his word.” (DS)

Really Shanaka? How may I ask. SF needs to be coached in diplomacy. He is no more the commander of the SL Army though he still commands a lot of respect. In the same token he also has a lot of enemies. Now that he is aspiring to be the President( Let us be clear of his intentions!!) he needs to be diplomatic rather than be confrontational .

Dear Apsara I wish you your sister and your loving mother to stay behind your loving father and the husband all the way.Your father is a strong man physically and mentally. Lots of people who are responsible in putting your father in prison have none of your father's great ways. Your loving father will bring true democracy to our beautiful island Sri Lanka. He wii be the Nelson Mandella of Sri Lanka.

His vision is good, he should be careful when selecting people to go forward, Sri Lanka is a country with full of corruption, thuggery , back stabbing, misleading, mouths are full of lies you name any bad thing all you can see among Srilankan politicians
We will support him with blood too if he choose right people in to his team to go forward

He did not gain any personal benefit by being commander. Instead he clear country from Terrorism.Gota and Mahinda appointed him because of his capabilities and not as a favour

I think he should step away from politics for some time, engage only in honest social service. After he is sure of the political opportunists he should form a very independent party based on real values of honesty, equality and unite like-minded people of all races, religions and bring about a just society.

If he heads to politics straight away, he will end up like all of our current politicians who may have followers but are not really respected even among the own followers.

The family need to support him along such a path.

SF is an officer and a gentleman. A man who served in the Army for so many years and fought a war for country' sake even before the Rajapaksas came to power. Almost sacrified his life for the country, not like a baya Gota who ran away from the Army. SF is more patriotric than the ones in power. Our rulers are a bunch of murderers, thugs, and robbing the country and its citizens wealth.

three things, 1 He never made money when he was the commandeer - proof is that even if he made 05 cts they would have investigated and charged him. 2. He is man loyal to the constitution. He will wipe out underground in North, East and South 3) He will allow experts to do their work without interfering as he is a disciplined man.
