Women’s National Junior Hockey Pool training from July 27

The Technical Committee of the Sri Lanka Hockey Federation has selected a 54 member Junior National Women’s Hockey Pool for the Junior Women’s U-21 AHF Cup Hockey Championships to be held from September 9 to 15 in Singapore.

The pool was selected according to performances at the inaugural Junior Women’s National Hockey Championships held in the first week of June in Colombo.

Training and pool practices will be held on July 27 and 28, August 3 and 4 at the Synthetic Turf at Reid Avenue. The final players of the Sri Lanka team are expected to be named before August 20.

A coach has not been appointed as yet. A coach and team manager will be appointed next week.
