Trinity College bounced back with a superb second half rally to beat St. Anthony’s College, Katugastota by 35 points (seven tries) to 10 points (one try, one conversion and one penalty) in their Inter-Schools Under-19 League Rugby Tournament match played at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy today (15).
At half time the Antonians led 10-5.
The visitors stood out in the first half but the home team bounced back in grand style touching down six tries in the second half.
Antonian Skipper Mohamed Makarim had a grand outing leading from the front and Tharusha Ekanayake too was a class act.
For Trinity, Skipper, Reshan Bandaranayake was omnipresent and he had an outstanding game along with Amith Kulatunge and Nimesha Ekanayake.
