Ragama CC end campaign on winning note

Ragama CC ended their SLC Premier T20 Inter-Club Cricket Tournament league campaign on a winning note with a 31-run win over CCC in their match worked off at the P. Sara Oval today (15).

Meanwhile the eight teams that qualified for the quarter-finals are Badureliya CC and Colts CC from Group ‘A’, NCC and SSC from Group ‘B’, Chilaw Marians CC and Army CC from Group ‘C’ and Ragama CC and CCC from Group ‘D’.

The four quarter-finals are scheduled to be played on January 17 at the P. Sara Oval and Katunayake.

At P. Sara Oval (Ragama CC won by 31 runs)

Ragama CC: 123/7 in 20 overs (Janith Liyanage 31 n.o)

CCC: 92 in 18.3 overs.

At BRC Grounds (Colts CC won by 100 runs)

Colts CC: 206/7 in 20 overs (Avishka Fernando 50, Sadeera Smarawickrama 50, Vishad Randika 51 n.o, Saranga Rajaguru 3/29)

Galle CC: 106/8 in 20 overs (Chathura Lakshan 31 n.o, Nipun Ransika 3/13).

At Katunayake (Badureliya CC won by 101 runs)

Badureliya CC: 207/6 in 20 overs (T. M. Sampath 79, Yasoda Lanka 51, Lahiru Milantha 30)

At P. Sara Oval (BRC won by six wickets)

At BRC Grounds (SLPA CC won by 26 runs)

SLPA CC: 188/5 in 20 overs (Adeesha Nanayakkara 52, Gayan Maneeshan 78 n.o)

Nugegoda SC: 162/9 in 20 overs (Nimantha Gunasiri 52, Denuwan Rajakaruna 49, Rajeewa Weerasinghe 3/33).

At Katunayake (Panadura SC won by three wickets)

Unichela SC: 102/8 in 20 overs (Hasitha Nirmal 53 n.o, Kaumal Nanayakkara 3/12)
