Havies looking to build on momentum

Havelock SC will be looking to take forward their good form when they scrum down against Army SC in their Dialog Inter-club League Rugby Tournament match-up at the Army Grounds tomorrow (04).

Last season’s runners-up, Havelock SC come in to their first game of the new year on the back of consecutive wins over Air Force SC and CH & FC which put them back on track after an early hiccup against Police SC.

Meanwhile, Army SC who are at sixth place on the points table will need to turn the tide if they are to push through into the top four.

Army SC team management indicated that skipper Manoj Bandara would not be featuring in the starting XV for tomorrow’s game but would most likely be substituted in, later in the match.

Army SC went down 10 points to 33 against CR & FC in their most recent game played at Longdon Place on December 21.

As with Army SC, Havies Captain Mithun Hapugoda too is not included amongst the starting XV.
