Without a single win out of their three games, the wounded Antonians will be getting their best chance when they host Science College at Nittawela tomorrow (22).

Science lost out to St. Joseph’s College and Isipathana College, but got the better of Zahira College, while St. Anthony’s College lost out to St. Joseph’s, Trinity College and Isipathana.

Led by Mohamed Makarim and players in the calibre of Isuru Ariyapala and the Amarasinghe brothers – Ruvan and Mathis, with Theeksha Gunasinghe, the Antonians hold the edge playing in Kandy.

Three teams – Science, St Anthony’s and Zahira College, will battle it out for the Number Four position in order to remain in the Cup segment as the last two teams after Round One, will be demoted to the Plate segment.
