Royal College edged-out Trinity College by a solitary goal to win the Under-19 fixture in their Trinity-Royal annual Inter-school hockey encounter played at the Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy yesterday (07).
Royal scored the match-winning goal through G. Malshan in the first half and went on to retain the J. C. A. Corea Trophy for another year.
Meanwhile, the Under-15 encounter played for the Paul Jeyaraj Trophy, ended in a 1-1 draw while the Old Boys encounter ended in a nil-all draw.
This match was played for the late Colonel Bertie Dias Trophy.
