The Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament bottom-half clubs from last season would be eligible to field their foreign players from this week onwards following the Court hearing on Friday (01).

Although Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) had opted to allow the bottom half clubs to field one overseas player each, no foreigner was allowed in the tournament after CH and FC filed a case in Court.

This has now been changed after the Court lifting the Injunction Order that was issued in November.

As a result of that, Air Force Sports Club and Army Sports Club will be eligible to include overseas players in the squad during their match at Welisara today (2).

Police SC will also unleash Emosi Vunivosa in their game against Havelock SC tomorrow while CR and FC who have already sent their foreign player back, has opted not to have an overseas player.
