In previous articles on the above subject, we discussed the results that the Sun produces with different two-planet combinations. We propose to discuss in this article in the series, the results that the Moon produces in conjunction with two other planets.

Moon – Mars – Mercury:  Very often this conjunction produces very unfavourable results.  Native becomes a hobo – a person with no fixed abode aimlessly moving from place to place.  He often goes hungry. Despite the miserable circumstances he is placed in, he slanders others. He leads an unfortunate life.  If the conjunction occurs powerfully in a good House, the native would not suffer the unfavourable results.

Moon – Venus – Saturn
is a Pravrujya or Shramana yoga. Native would be a
great religious leader. If he remains a layman, he
would be a highly respected learned Minister of State close to king or the ruler

Moon – Mars – Venus:  Natives are greatly attracted to the opposite sex. They would take much delight in their company.  They are physically strong and healthy.  They are always on the move – going places.  They do not remain at home. If the conjunction is strong, they would put their natural advantages and strengths to good use.  If the conjunction is afflicted, they would indulge in immoral with no sense of shame or fear. If this conjunction comes to influence a queen, she would have ‘a harem of gigolos’.

Moon – Mars - Saturn:  Those born with this conjunction would suffer much misery during childhood.  Even the death of mother is possible. Native may die as a child.  If the conjunction occurs in the 6th or the 8th House, the native would become a very powerful person.  He would be firm in his convictions and opinions, and none would be able to influence his judgment. If the conjunction is afflicted, the native would become a wicked sinner.

Moon – Mercury – Jupiter:  This is a very favourable conjunction. It represents a fine blend of mind, intelligence, and scientific knowledge. This conjunction indicates that the newborn is in the safe custody of an affectionate mother and a kind-0hearted teacher.  Those born with this conjunction, would receive a good education and enjoy all comforts in life.  He would have a good wife and equally good children.  He would have learned men and women as friends.  He is destined to become a world-renowned scholar. There would be hardly any   unfavourable results even if the conjunction occurs in an evil House.

Moon – Mercury – Venus:  Native becomes very passionate.  He would get a bad reputation because of his immoral conduct. He would be a stranger to modesty.  However, if this conjunction occurs in a strong House with no evil aspects, the native would become a great physician or a scientist or a painter or a musician.

Moon – Mercury – Saturn:  This is also very favourable. This conjunction represents a fine blend of mind, intelligence, and firmness. Native would be a great scholar respected even by rulers.  This is an ideal conjunction to produce a great religious leader.

Moon – Jupiter – Venus:  This is also a very favourable conjunction.  The subject is born to a noble lady.  He would live in comfort from the time of birth.  His marriage would be a great success. He would have a fortunate wife and equally fortunate children. His income would come from a white-collar job.  He would hold high office in the government or a business organization.  The conjunction would get more strength if it has occurred in the 4th House.  There would be no unfavourable results even I if the conjunction occurs in an evil House.

Moon – Jupiter – Saturn:  This is also a favourable conjunction.  The subject is likely to marry a woman elder to him.  He would acquire a good education, wealth, and a good reputation. He would receive honours and patronage from the state.  He would live a successful life free from want.

Moon – Venus – Saturn: This is a Pravrujya or Shramana yoga. Native would be a great religious leader. If he remains a layman, he would be a highly respected learned Minister of State close to king or the ruler.

Peculiarities of the Head Line and their significations https://www.dailymirror.lk/jyotisha-news/Peculiarities-of-the-Head-Line-and-their-significations/312-231421 https://www.dailymirror.lk/jyotisha-news/Peculiarities-of-the-Head-Line-and-their-significations/312-231421 We have already dealt with the peculiarities of the Head line, Heart line and the Life Line and their significations in detail and now we dwell on the peculiarities of minor lines  and their significations at length in a series beginning the article on the Line of Mars.

We propose to dwell in this article on the peculiarities of the Line of Fate or the Line of Destiny  and its significations.

The Line of Fate or the Line of Destiny is considered  one of the most important  of the principal  lines of the hand. It is also called the Line of Saturn for it invariably terminates on the Mount of Saturn.

According to savants of Palmistry, The Fate Line signifies the career,  lifework and succession of happenings in life.

The Line of Fate is not found in all hands.  However, the absence of this line in the hand  does not indicate a negative existence, say great palmists.

It is the general opinion among the eminent palmists that despite the absence of the Line of Fate,  a person may make a success of his life through perseverance.

In most cases, the Line of Fate originates from the following places in the hand.

  •  From above the wrist
  •  From near the Life Line
  •  From the Mount of Upper Mars
  •  From the Mount of Venus crossing the Life Line
  •  From the area of the Dragon’s Head
  •  From the heart Line
  •  From the Mount of the Moon
  •  From the Line of Head

Sun conjunct with two other planets https://www.dailymirror.lk/jyotisha-news/Sun-conjunct-with-two-other-planets/312-230541 https://www.dailymirror.lk/jyotisha-news/Sun-conjunct-with-two-other-planets/312-230541

We have already discussed in a series of articles carried in the Zodiac, the results each of the nine planets produce in conjunction with another planet in separate two –planet combinations. Starting with this article, we propose to discuss in another series of articles the results the planets produce in different three- planet combinations or Tri-Graha Samyoga.

Students of Astrology have to remember that the results of the three-planetary combinations given as in the case of Dwi-Graha Samyoga are of a general nature and that the effects produced by all planetary conjunctions either intensify or lessen depending on the sign and the House where the conjunction occurs and the benefic or the malefic aspect it receives among other factors.

Sun – Moon – Mars:  The person born when this conjunction powerfully occurs in a sign, would be very gallant.  He would come into both wealth and power. He would destroy all his enemies.  In fact, one turning against him, would only be courting disaster. The native is just and fair-minded. If this conjunction is afflicted, the native would become a wicked sinner.

Sun – Moon –Mercury:  The person born when this Samyoga powerfully occurs in a sign, would be an intellectual, wise, and learned.  This conjunction would produce very favourable results relating to matters represented by the House where it occurs. If the conjunction is afflicted, the native would be a spluttering half-blind idiot.

Sun – Moon – Jupiter: If these planets powerfully conjoin in a sign at birth, the subject would be a learned and a powerful person possessing sterling qualities. He would be healthy and wealthy. He would have a sound mind and a sound body.  If the Samyoga is afflicted, they native would be a sickly person wallowing in misery.

Sun –Moon – Venus:  These three planets powerfully posited together in a sign at birth would make the native clever at acquiring wealth.  He would have enemies.  If the Moon and Venus are afflicted, the native would resort to sinful base acts to satisfy his carnal desires. He would become shameless adulterer.

Sun - Moon – Saturn: If born when these three planets are together in one sign, the native would be a hardy and rugged person who is fearless.  He would have no respect for anyone either.  He would become wealthy and famous during the last stage of his life.  The native would die at a young age if the conjunction were afflicted.
Sun – Mars – Mercury:  This conjunction would produce a rude and wicked person. If the Samyoga is afflicted, the native would become a desperado capable of committing any sin without shame.

Sun - Mars – Jupiter:  This is a very favourable conjunction.  The native would be a righteous person who does not hesitate to uphold justice and fair play. He is devoted to his wife and children. He would be looked on as a leader of his community. He would become wealthy towards the latter part of his life. He would not be a religious bigot. If the conjunction occurs in an evil House with malefic effects, the native would become a spendthrift.

Sun –Mars – Venus:  If this conjunction occurs in the Lagna or in the 2nd or the 12th House, the native would be an eye patient.  However, he would be endowed with physical strength and power.  He would be very persevering, but very passionate.  He is dynamic and proactive.

Sun – Mars – Saturn:  If these three malefics occupy a sign together in a strong House, the native would become a powerful personality soon. He would quickly achieve material success. Enemies would fear him. All relatives would accept his leadership and supremacy.  If the conjunction is afflicted, the native would be a miserable sickly person alienated by his relatives. He is likely to suffer from neurological problems and ailments affecting blood.

Sun – Mercury – Jupiter:  This is a very favourable combination.  Native would be a perfect gentleman. He would be truthful and rational in his beliefs. He would be a brilliant scholar.  His income would come from literary, academic, or scientific efforts. If the conjunction is afflicted, he would suffer from liver troubles, and inflammation of internal organs.

Dwi-graha Samyoga – Mercury and Jupiter with other planets https://www.dailymirror.lk/jyotisha-news/Dwi-graha-Samyoga-–-Mercury-and-Jupiter-with-other-planets/312-229606 https://www.dailymirror.lk/jyotisha-news/Dwi-graha-Samyoga-–-Mercury-and-Jupiter-with-other-planets/312-229606

We hope that the readers have already gone through the separate articles on the results the Sun, the Moon and Mars produce in conjunction with the other planets, carried in previous issues.

In this article we propose to discuss the results Mercury and Jupiter produce in conjunction with other planets.
Mercury- Jupiter: A person born with this conjunction in his Natal Chart, would have an insatiable desire for knowledge. He would become a great scholar and a philosopher.  He would be highly respected for his objectiveness and impartiality and also being quick on the uptake.  This conjunction also signifies long journeys overseas. He would enjoy robust health. He would be conservative in his outlook. A person with this conjunction would make an ideal member of the judiciary.

If the conjunction is afflicted, the native would suffer loss of wealth and would face severe disappointments in life.
Mercury –Venus:  Native would have a sharp intellect and a taste for finer things in life.  He would possess sterling qualities.  A pleasing conversationalist, the native would be well versed in Music, Poetry, and literature.
If this conjunction occurs in a quadrant, the subject would be an orator and a lawyer.  If the conjunction is afflicted, the subject would not have a smooth relationship with the fair sex.

Mercury – Saturn: The blend of Mercury’s changeability and inconsistency and Saturn’s steadfastness and firmness would produce favourable results. Natives are clever mathematicians and engineers as well as those working in an orderly manner.  They are endowed with patience and mindfulness.  They are truthful and highly principled and are fit to hold any responsible position.

If this conjunction is afflicted, the native would become a cheat and a fraudster.
Mercury – Rahu:  Mercury loses all his good qualities when in conjunction with Rahu.  Native would be like a small child coming under the evil influence of an undisciplined person addicted to vices like drug abuse, gambling, and alcohol.

Mercury – Ketu: Native would take a keen interest in studies. But he would suffer from skin diseases.
Jupiter – Venus:  This is a very favourable combination. The native would become a wealthy person owning houses and lands and other property.  He would be a wealthy person by the time he reaches his middle age.  He would marry a woman with noble qualities.  Children would be fortunate.  He would enjoy all comforts in life.  He would cause no harm to anyone.

If the conjunction is afflicted, the native would be a spendthrift.  Marriage would not be a success.
Jupiter – Saturn:  This is the most powerful and favourable of all two-planet conjunctions. Native would march towards progress and prosperity from the youth.  The wealth would come in a flood, without any effort on the part of the native.  He would live in a house built by others.  If educated, he would attain a high position in government or in the corporate sector.   He would win the respect and the affection of his peers, superiors, and subordinates. He would set apart a share of his wealth for his children.  His fortune and generosity would increase by leaps and bounds if the conjunction receives the aspect of the Sun or the Moon.

Jupiter – Rahu:  This conjunction produces favourable results. If the conjunction is afflicted, no good result would come from this combination.

Jupiter – Ketu:  This is a Gnanayoga. Native would acquire a good education.  If the conjunction occurs in the 5th, 10th, or the 11th House native would have a comfortable residence, vehicles and lands and other property.

1.From above the wrist, 2.From near the Life Line, 3.From the Mount of Upper Mars, 4.From the Mount of Venus crossing the Life Line, 5.From the area of the Dragon’s Head, 6.From the heart Line, 7.From the Mount of the Moon, 8.From the Line of Head
Now let us consider the peculiarities of the Line of Fate and their significations.

Dwi-graha Samyoga- Mars with other planets https://www.dailymirror.lk/jyotisha-news/Dwi-graha-Samyoga--Mars-with-other-planets/312-228613 https://www.dailymirror.lk/jyotisha-news/Dwi-graha-Samyoga--Mars-with-other-planets/312-228613

The Mars-Mercury samyoga is a very favourable combination that makes the native very dynamic and energetic

We have already discussed the results that the Sun and the Moon produce in conjunction with the other planets in two previous articles. We propose to discuss the results that Mars produces in conjunction with other planets in this article.

Mar s- Mercury:  This is a very favourable combination that makes the native very dynamic and energetic.  Savants of Astrology   describe Mars- Mercury Samyoga as a fine blend of dynamic action with the knowledge of science and mathematics.  They say this Samyoga produces great engineers, physicians, surgeons, astronomers, Astrophysicists, and mathematicians.  If this conjunction occurs in a good House, the native would definitely become an outstanding scholar in the fields of science and mathematics.  If the conjunction is afflicted, the native would become a very clever cheat or a fraudster who lives by his wits.

Mars- Jupiter:  This is also a very favourable conjunction which is often referred to as Guru- Mangala Yoga.  If it occurs in a good House with beneficial aspects, native would be a forward-looking person of indomitable courage. He would be fiercely independent. . He would possess such great qualities and psychic powers he would easily win others over to his way of thinking.  He possesses a sharp intellect and perception and oratorical skills. He would cause no harm to anyone, nor would he tolerate any violent action towards him either.

If this conjunction is afflicted, the native would be a prodigal person.  He would be eternally in financial difficulties. He would lose at cards; However, he would have the guts to face  any difficult situation.  If the conjunction occurs in a sign friendly to both planets, the native would be a righteous person.

Mars- Venus: This is also a good combination – a blend of dynamism and drive of Mars with the finer qualities of Venus. Native would become a peace-lover and a bold and courageous person.

However, he would be a passionate person bent on seeking sensual pleasures.  Mars- Venus combination makes a person physically strong. If the conjunction is not afflicted, the native would be a happy-go-lucky playboy.

However, he could be a successful businessman or an entrepreneur. He would be popular among the fair sex.  However, the native’s married life would be a failure if the combination occurs in the Lagna or the 7th House.
If the conjunction becomes afflicted, the native would lose all his possessions in the pursuit of satisfying his sexual desires.  He would fall into the company of women of loose morals.

If the conjunction occurs in a watery sign, (Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces) he would become an alcoholic.  However, the native could become a good person if armed with the determination to lead a good life with the prior knowledge of the unfavourable conjunction.

Mars – Saturn: A person born with this conjunction, would acquire good qualities like forbearance, patience, and retentive power. He would enjoy robust health. If the conjunction is fortified with beneficial aspects, the native would rise to a very high position in an academic career. He would be economical in the use of his wealth.  If the conjunction is afflicted, the results would be disastrous.

People with an afflicted Mars- Saturn conjunction could become ruthless mass killers. If these planets occupy the 2nd or the 8th House, the native would suffer from hypertension.  If Saturn as the 2nd lord conjoins with Mars in whatever House, the native would suffer from this ailment. He would even suffer from dementia.

Mars – Rahu:  Native becomes very dynamic and energetic when Rahu conjoins Mars in a sign. These two planets would cause some injury or a fracture to the part of the body (Kalapurusha) which the House where the conjunction occurs represents.  If this conjunction is afflicted by malefic aspects, the native would fall victim to serious accidents when he runs their Maha Dasa and Antar Dasa separately or in combination. Native’s school career would come to an end in such a situation.

Mars – Ketu: This conjunction makes the native an invalid due to weakening of red corpuscles in the blood. He would be deprived of marital happiness due to physical weakness.

Moon- Saturn  Samyoga at birth means Jamma Shani Erashtaka
Moon- Ketu Samyoga, a Gnanayoga

Last week in the article under the above title, we discussed the effects the Moon produces in separate conjunctions with Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, and Venus. In this article we propose to discuss the results the Moon produces in combination with the other planets, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu.

Moon – Venus: Native having this conjunction seeks to lead a happy and care-free life with his wife and children.  He likes to dress well and possess exotic and artistic things. He enjoys the company of women. He is a pleasant person liked by all.  If the conjunction is afflicted, his married life would be unhappy. People would not trust him.  He would have sexual relations with low women and would contract venereal diseases.  He would lead a miserable life.

Moon –Saturn: Astrologers call this conjunction Jamma Shani Erashtaka. If the natives survive this Erashtaka, they would become very clever people. When they grow up, the natives would earn a reputation as honest and upright persons. They, as a matter of course, would exercise much care and thrift and would become wealthy as a result.

They would amass much wealth within a short period. If this conjunction is afflicted, the results would be just the opposite.  Even if the native becomes very rich and learned, he would not lead a happy life. Shani Jamma Erashtaka visiting them for the second or third time would not have an adverse effect on them.

Moon with Rahu: Waning Moon would become very weak when she is conjunct with Rahu. Rahu produces good results when he is conjunct with a strong Moon.

Moon with Ketu: Native becomes mentally unsettled when this conjunction occurs in his horoscope.  However, the native would develop a sharp perception. This is a Gnanayoga of sorts. This conjunction is conducive for learning, not for making money.

The Moon-Mars combination endows the native with robust health

Last week we discussed the effects that the Sun produces in conjunction with other planets. We propose to discuss in this article the effects the Moon produces in conjunction with other planets.

We have already dwelled on the results that the Sun- Moon combination produces, and it has to be noted that this combination in the reverse as Moon – Sun produces the same results. Therefore, we have to begin this discussion with the Moon- Mars conjunction.

Moon- Mars: This Samyoga produces favourable results. It confers on the native qualities like generosity, gallantry, propensity for sports, drive, and dynamism. This combination endows the native with robust health.  However, if the combination occurs in an evil House with the aspect of malefics, the native would become clumsy and impatient.  He would show no courtesy or regard or respect for others. He would earn a bad reputation. He would get drawn to vices like gambling, drug abuse and womanizing.  Every good thing that the House where the conjunction occurs, represents gets destroyed.  If the conjunction in a female horoscope is afflicted, the results would be still worse.  It would cause the death of mother and wife.

Moon –Mercury: This conjunction occurring in a good House confers oratorical skills, a sharp perception and intellect on the native.  But he is unstable.  He would not have the ability to give undivided attention to any matter.
He lacks mindfulness.  But he would be very sharp. If this conjunction gets afflicted, the native would take to thieving as a result of falling into reduced circumstances, due to bad habits like being addicted to alcohol and gambling.  Such natives become clever cheats and fraudsters.  They would have an attractive personality. Women often fall victim to wiles of such men.  If this afflicted conjunction is aspected by cruel malefics, the native would turn into a very dangerous character.

Moon – Jupiter:  This is also a very favourable conjunction if it is not afflicted.  It confers robust health, wealth, fame, and good friends.  Native would earn money only by ethical and legal means.  If this Samyoga is afflicted, every good thing the House where the conjunction occurs, represents would go to wrack and ruin.  Among the bad results are heavy expenses, heavy business losses and falling victim to accidents while engaged in risk-involved activity.  Native would lose much wealth in the pursuit of honours and recognition. Marriage would be a failure. His children would not do well in life.
