Sandesh steers Gurukula MV

A fine six-wicket haul by Sandesh Charuka laid the foundation for Gurukula MV, Kelaniya to record a comfortable first innings win over Kirindiwela Central in their Under-15 Inter-Schools Cricket Tournament encounter played at Kirindiwela yesterday.
Meanwhile, the matches between Wesley vs St. Joseph’s at Darley Road, Ananda Sastralaya, Kotte vs Siri Piyarathana MMV, Padukka at Kotte and Ananda, Kottawa vs Mahinda Rajapaksa National School at Homagama were postponed due to wet ground conditions yesterday.
