Sri Lanka’s Nuwan Pradeep who dislocated his finger while training at Bristol yesterday, was treated by an Indian doctor, according to reliable sources.
The 33-year-old fast bowler was accompanied by Sri Lanka Team Manager Ashantha de Mel and the Team Physiotherapist to the Bristol Royal Hospital.
“At this point, we are not seeking any replacement but will wait for his recovery,” the Team Manager, de Mel, said.
Sri Lanka’s next match (after Bangladesh) will be against Australia on June 15 and the team management will seek further updates on his recovery.
At present, no replacement is sought.
