Colombo District Snooker Tourney Fancied cueists advance to 2nd round

All fancied cueists won their respective matches to advance to the second-round of the Colombo District Snooker Tournament which continued at the Automobile Association Club (AAC) and The Cue Club Billiards Table in Colombo yesterday.

Army SC had three of their players making it to the second-round while the experienced players, Rohitha de Silva of BRC and veteran S. M. Shaharwardie of Moors Sports Club (MSC) also had success. 

The tournament will be continued today.

Weeraratne (Army SC) 55-11, 59-43. P. A. D. Peramuna (Army SC) beat T. Zarook (The Cue) 59-44, 52-28. S. M. Shaharwardie (MSC) beat D. R. G. Dharmadasa (CEB) 65-29, 70-43. P. P.
