Dialog and Genie Facilitate Cashless, Cardless PickMe Payments

Genie, Sri Lanka’s first and only PCI-DSS certified mobile payment app by Dialog Axiata PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, announced its latest partnership with PickMe, the fastest, safest and smartest way to book cabs and taxis in Sri Lanka to introduce a more efficient and hassle-free payment method for riders.
 
Genie is Sri Lanka’s first and only PCI-DSS certified mobile payment application and allows users to add their Visa/Mastercard, current/savings account or eZ Cash account to the app and make remote payments, in-app payments, over-the-counter payments (OTC via QR Code) and web payments more safely and conveniently. To enjoy the new payment method offered by Genie, riders simply need to scan the QR code on the driver’s phone and complete their payment, without the need for physical cards or cash.
