A story saying that two persons – a lady and a gentleman- hailing from a VVIP family in the country had been appointed to high office in a State undertaking affiliated to our national airlines went viral recently.

However, there was no immediate information available as to who made these appointments.

By the way, it may be unknown to many that the news was a surprise to even the country’s Number One and Number Two and they too were making inquiries as to who was responsible for making the appointments.

It had come to light later it was none other than the political authority in charge of the subject, who had ordered these appointments without consulting any consultative committee or a higher authority.

Thereafter, a ruling had come immediately from the highest echelons saying that the lady should quit the high office and the gentleman being a person qualified both academically and professionally be allowed to continue in the post.

The prompt action taken by the Top Two in the country has come in for kudos from many in the public domain and political circles, they say.
