Members of the GMOA in the Uva Province have decided to suspend private practice in view of the prevailing situation.

Uva Province coordinator of the GOMA and Secretary of the Badulla General Hospital branch Dr. Palitha Rajapakse said they had taken the step to prevent the people from frequenting medical centres and expose to the danger contracting COVID-19.

He pointed out that the public could take up their problems, if any, over the phone or inform through inbox. Dr. Rajapakse said the doctors had volunteered to visit the patients at their door steps and provide them the required treatment.
