Sharia University registration process is questionable

Most of the aspects with regard to Sharia University has found to be questionable, by the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE), it was revealed yesterday.   


A member of COPE who did not wish to be named said the documents pertaining to the registration were questionable. It has been revealed by the committee that a sum of US $ 40 million has been invested for it.   Also it has been found out that the Eastern Province Governor M. L. A. M. Hizbullah had handed over the institution to his son as he could not be an administrator in it being a deputy minister few years ago. It was revealed that Mr. Hizbullah will be summoned to COPE shortly.
