Ruhuna University closed indefinitely following clash

The administration of the University of Ruhuna had taken steps to close down the university indefinitely over a clash that broke out between the students and non-academic staff of the university.   

Vice Chancellor of the Ruhuna University Professor Sujeewa Amarasena said that the Wellamadama Premises of the university had been closed down with effect from yesterday (10) and would remain shut until normalcy is restored.
