Biscuit factory worker arrested

A worker attached to a popular biscuit factory in Makumbura, Pannipitiya was arrested yesterday on charges of inserting a broken tooth into the lunch packet of another worker, the Homagama Police said. 

The suspect was arrested after examining the CCTV footage and it was revealed that the suspect was inserting one of his broken teeth into his colleague’s lunch packet.  

However, the reason behind the suspect’s motive has not been revealed by the police as yet.  

Further investigations are being conducted by the Homagama Police and the suspect is scheduled to be produced before the Homagama Magistrate.
