Kidney transplant patient seeks help

P. H. Nishantha Pradeep Kumara of Pethiyagoda, Kelaniya is undergoing treatment for chronic renal failure and he needs to undergo an urgent kidney transplant. At present Kumara is undergoing dialysis treatment twice a week at the cost of Rs 7850 for each. 
Consultant Nephrologist Dr R. D. Lanerolle is treating Kumara at a private hospital in Colombo. 
He is registered for a kidney transplant from a government hospital and has to undergo twice-weekly dialysis until the transplant is done. As facilities for this treatment are not available in a government hospital regularly, Mr Kumara is compelled to seek treatment from the private sector. The kidney transplant is to cost over Rs. 1.7 million and he seeks financial assistance from wiling donours to collect the total amount. 
Worked as a three-wheeler driver, Kumara was the sole breadwinner of his family.
