Season 3 finale will be ‘the most moving’ episode of the entire series

Expect high drama and a play on emotions in the climax for season three of the science fiction horror series Stranger Things. David Harbour, who plays police chief Jim Hopper, revealed that the season finale will be ‘the most moving’ episode of the entire series.

The storyline will touch on the budding father-daughter relationship between his character and Millie Bobby Brown‘s Eleven.

‘Millie [Eleven] is growing up and I think that’s the terrifying thing for Hopper. He doesn’t like the idea of his baby daughter hanging out with boys,’ Harbour said during an appearance at MCM Comic-Con, according to DigitalSpy. ‘So the season starts with him a little bit uncomfortable.’

‘His daughter is becoming a teenager and beginning to find herself, so that’s scarier for Hopper than any Demogorgon creature that he’s going to have to deal with.’

‘You get to see a lot of that throughout the season and it’s very unexpected what happens in the end and it’s very, very moving,’  the 44-year-old actor added. ‘I think episode eight is the most moving thing we’ve ever shot.’  Along with Harbour and Brown, the cast also includes Winona Ryder (Joyce), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Priah Ferguson (Erica), Maya Hawke (Robin), Joe Keery (Steve), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan), Noah Schnapp (Will), Sadie Sink (Max), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Cara Buono (Karen) and Dacre Montgomery (Billy).

‘It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer’s heating up,’ revealed Netflix’s press release about the upcoming season.

‘School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart.’ It continued: ‘Meanwhile, danger looms. Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves. Now they’ll have to band together to survive, and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.’
