A mother, her daughter and another girl died when a tree fell on the three-wheeler they were seated in and parked near a school in Sooriyawewa last afternoon, Police said. They said the tragedy occurred during the strong winds that lashed the area.
The victims were identified as K.K Sandya aged 31, Dahami Sithum aged 9 and Nethmi Navodya aged 3.
