President Maithripala Sirisena has instructed law enforcement agencies not to close roads in a manner which would inconvenience the public when the VIPs were on the move.

He has given these instructions to the security forces during the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday. The President instructed law enforcement agencies to inform this to the security personnel escorting VIPs.
