High Posts Committee approves, Moragoda, Ravinatha, Kohona’s appointments

• C.A. Chandraprema has been appointed as the Permanent Representative to UN in Geneva

The Committee on High Posts has approved the appointment of eight new diplomats, including Milinda Moragoda as the High Commissioner to India and Dr. Palitha Kohona as the Ambassador to China.  

Accordingly, C.A. Chandraprema has been appointed as the Permanent Representative to UN in Geneva, Ravinatha Aryasinha as the Ambassador to USA, S. Amarasekera as the High Commissioner to South Africa, Admiral (Rtd) Harischandra de Silva as the Ambassador to Afghanistan, Vishramal S. Gunasekera as the Ambassador to Japan and Prof. Kshanika Hirimburegama as the Ambassador to France.
