Former PM Ranil Wickremesinghe wishes British PM a speedy recovery

Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe’ in a letter addressed to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson who has been hospitalised with Covid-19 wished him a speedy recovery.   

“I wish speedy recovery to a front line soldier during this time of immense personal and political challenges,” Mr. Wickremesinghe said in his letter to Premier Johnson.   

“I wish to avail myself of this opportunity to renew to you the assurance of my highest consideration,” he added.   
It was reported that Mr. Johnson was hospitalised as his condition became worse.
