Envoy not recalled: Switzerland

This report is not accurate. The Swiss ambassador to Sri Lanka is currently fulfilling his duties in Colombo

Switzerland yesterday denied the reports that Swiss Ambassador in Sri Lanka Hanspeter Mock has been recalled.  

When questioned by the Daily Mirror whether the Ambassador has been recalled or summoned, a spokesperson for the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs said, “This information is not accurate. The Swiss ambassador to Sri Lanka is currently fulfilling his duties in Colombo.”  
Several reports earlier said Ambassador Mock has been recalled by Switzerland following the incident where a local staffer of the Swiss Embassy in Colombo was allegedly threatened by a group of unidentified men.
