DMT back to normal from July 1

The Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) yesterday announced that its services which were disrupted during the COVID-19 pandemic has returned to normal from July 1. 

DMT Commissioner-General Sumith C. Alahakoon said the services provided by the department were limited to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.   


“There is no longer any need to reserve dates to obtaining any of the services provided by the DMT,” he said adding that those who enter the premises were required to adhere to the health guidelines such as wearing masks, using sanitizers, and maintaining physical distancing.
