Awareness campaign on 20A and re-organisation under Ruwan

• People will be made aware of the crimes, environmental pollution, violation of laws through the campaign

UNP is to launch an awareness campaign under its Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene on the 20th Amendment, environmental pollution and suppressing of people’s rights a statement from the party said yesterday.   

it has been decided to re-organise its affiliated organisations including the National Youth Front, Lak Wanitha and the media unit of the party

“People will be made aware of the crimes, environmental pollution, violation of laws through the campaign, the statement said.   

Buddhist clergy will be made aware of the current issues through the Eksath Jathika Bhikku Peramuna.   
Also it has been decided to re-organise its affiliated organisations including the National Youth Front, Lak Wanitha and the media unit of the party under Mr. Wijewardene, according to sources.
