Areas in Colombo, Gampaha where isolation was lifted 40 Covid-19 patients identified

  • 400 cases were reported in Sri Lanka on Sunday
  • 121 patients were identified in the Colombo District and 112 patients  in the Gampaha District

A total of 40 Covid-19 patients were identified on Sunday from areas where the isolation status was lifted in Colombo and Gampaha.   

Isolation imposed on the Borella, Wellampitiya, Colombo Fort and Slave Island Police areas in Colombo District and Ja-Ela and Kadawatha Police areas in Gampaha District was lifted at 5 a.m yesterday.  
A total of 400 cases were reported in Sri Lanka on Sunday and 121 patients were identified in the Colombo District while 112 patients were identified in the Gampaha District.  


Accordingly, twenty-five cases were reported from Colombo 08 (Borella), ten cases from Colombo 02 (Slave Island/ Union Place), one patient from Wellampitiya in Colombo, three cases from Kadawatha and one patient from Ja-Ela.
