2019 A/L z-score cut-off marks released

  • The number of students to be enrolled for medicine, engineering and other faculties was increased

University cut-off marks for students who sat for the GCE Advanced Level Examination in 2019 were released yesterday, University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Prof. Sampath Amaratunga said.  

He said separate cut-off marks will be issued, as the examination was held under the new and old syllabuses.  
He also said the cut-off marks could be accessed through the UGC official website www.ugc.ac.lk.  
About 41,500 students were qualified for entrance to the Universities.  


Following recommendations of the Government, the number of students to be enrolled for medicine, engineering and other faculties was increased,  Prof Amarathunga said.
