15 Covid-19 patients reported in Maharagama MC area

• These persons have been identified as second contacts of the Covid-19 infected at the Peliyagoda Fish Market   

Fifteen people have been reported infected with the coronavirus in the Maharagama Municipal Council (MC) area yesterday.   

The Maharagama Medical Officer of Health said that these infected persons have been identified as second contacts of the Covid-19 infected at the Peliyagoda Fish Market.   

The identified patients are residents of Nagahawatta, Pannipitiya, Weeramawatha, Pathiragoda, Janatha Mawatha, Navinna, Arawwala, Embuldeniya and Jayagath Road.   

Nearly 200 people of their contacts have been self quarantined at 25 houses.   
The patients were identified from nearly 160 people in the Maharagama area who were subjected to PCR tests.
